Savory Pot Roast..........Monica Musco

 

Ingredients:
 
3 lb. eye of round
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 package onion soup mix
1 cup water
2 tbl. cooking oil
salt
pepper

Instructions:
 
In Dutch oven brown roast in oil.
Salt and pepper roast.
Mix soup, water and onion mix in pot.
On stove, simmer roast in mixture, covered for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Rotate after 1 hour, baste occasionally.
 
Gravy:

Remove roast from pan.
Add water and flour to pan until thickened.
