Pot Roast..........Mom Franzen

 

Ingredients:
 
1 chuck roast - 3lbs. or larger
potatoes
carrots
onion

Instructions:
 
Spray roast pan with Pam - place roast in with sliced onion.
Roast covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Take lid off roast pan - put back in with no lid on.
START WATCH!
In about 25 minutes, liquid dries up. Do not burn!
Add 1 inch of water, carrots and potatoes - put lid back on.
Roast 1 more hour.
Make gravy from cornstarch and water.
Entire time is about 2 1/2 hours.
