Pizzelles..........Mom (Fran) Pappa


 

Ingredients:                                                      1/2 Recipe
 
1/2 lb. butter - melted                                       1/4 lb. butter - melted                                       
6 eggs                                                                3 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar                                               3/4 cup sugar
8 Tbl. anisette                                                    4 Tbl. anisette
3 1/2 cups flour                                                 1 3/4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder                                        2 tsp. baking powder

 

Instructions:

 
In large bowl mix all ingredients.
Refrigerate mixture for 1/2 hour.
Prepare and preheat pizzelle iron per manufacturers instructions.
Put 1 heaping teaspoon of mixture on each side of iron.
Cook for 50-55 seconds.
Makes about 60 cookies. (30 for 1/2 recipe)
