Pizza Dough - Easy..........Mom (Fran) Pappa

 

Ingredients:
 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbl. olive oil
3 cups flour - add more to lose stickiness

8 oz. can Contadina tomato sauce

3/4 tsp. oregano

8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:
 

Dissolve yeast in water.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Beat 20 strokes vigorously.
Set dough aside for 5 minutes.
Divide dough in half if making 2 pizzas.
Form into rectangle - 2 if making 2 pizzas.

Press dough into lightly oiled baking sheet.

Spread tomato sauce on dough.
Add parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and favorite toppings.
Bake at 450 degrees for 17-20 minutes.

 

Sauce:

 

In a small sauce pot:

1 8 oz. can Contadina tomato sauce.

Sprinkle and stir in some oregano.

Heat for 10 minutes.
