Ingredients:
1 tbl. olive oil 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 garlic clove - crushed 1
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Italian seasoning - crushed. 1/16 tsp. ground black pepper 2 tbl.
red wine
Instructions:
In large saucepan heat olive oil until hot. Add onion and garlic.
Sauté
until tender - about 5 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, salt, Italian seasoning and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce
heat and simmer, covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add wine, simmer covered for 5 minutes. Serve over
freshly cooked pasta.
Makes about 4 cups.
