Ingredients:
8 slices Capicola 8 slices Genoa salami 10 slices pepperoni 1 cup Italian 5 blend cheese
fried peppers lettuce
tomato pizza shell (I use Tomanettis) sandwich or Panini press (I use a Panini press)
Instructions:
Cut pizza shell in half and trim if necessary to fit on the grill. Layer 8 slices of salami and capicola across bottom of pizza shell. Lay 10 slices of pepperoni on top of the meat. Spread 1/2 cup Italian blend cheese over the meats. Layer the onions, peppers, lettuce and tomatoes on the cheese. Cover the onions, peppers, lettuce and tomatoes with 1/2 cup Italian blend cheese. Sprinkle Italian dressing over top layer of cheese to taste. Place bottom shell in the Panini press. Place top of shell on bottom half. Close lid and press down until light comes on indicating sandwich is done. For a more crispy shell, continue pressing on lid for another minute or so. |
