2 cups flour
8 Tbsp. cocoa Grease and flour
11x15 baking pan. Blend flour and sugar in large bowl - set aside. Mix 1
stick butter, Crisco, buttermilk (or vinegar and milk mix),
4 Tbl. cocoa, 1 cup water in saucepan. Bring to boil and add to dry mixture. Add to mixture 2
eggs, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. cinnamon. Bake at 400
degrees for 20 minutes. Ice immediately. Icing: Put 1 stick
butter, 4 Tbl. cocoa and 6 Tbl. milk in saucepan and bring
to a slow boil. Add 1 tsp,
vanilla and 1 box powdered sugar to saucepan. Stir while on
slow boil for 5 minutes. |
